It depends on who is liable for the delay Men and Machines have to paid for, someone is going to lose a shed load of money my guess is the Tax payer

w4 When you count in Civils, Tunnels , bridges, ground formation, drainage, cable troughs, Then track, signalling, power and comms Its no a great deal of time but someone will feel it in the pocket
Normally if my company was delayed by another we would fire letter in giving notice of a delay claim , Im sure there will be trail of paper for a 9 month delay

agreed- when you figure its been built under the centre of london and include all the demolition work overground etc...remarkable job its only that late!

Even when the service starts my bet is it will be at least six months before it runs smoothly and is isn't a total mess everyday of the week as it beds in.
Don't forget if they haven't installed hot water points for the drivers in the correct places those trains are not moving. Ha ha.
